Basic Herbal Workshop – April 29th 2023

I have some spots left for my basic herbal workshop coming up at the end of April.

Class will begin at 10 AM as we discuss the benefits of basic herbal medicine and cover 30 of “my top safe and effective herbs” you and your family can use for all kinds of problems that may arise. These herbs are all simple to grow and harvest from your own back yard!

These herbs include:
Yarrow, Elder, Peppermint, Lemon Balm, Lavender, Calendula, Comfrey, Plantain, St. John’s Wort, Ginger, Echinacea, Marshmallow, Nettles, Mullein, Cleavers, Raspberry, Chamomile, Thyme, Dandelion, Milk Thistle, Cayenne, Onion/Garlic, Fennel, Basil, Rose, Sage, Milky Oats, Catnip, Valerian and Gumweed.

Lunch will be served at noon and then we will make plant medicine at 1 PM (recipes included). Class will go to about 4 or 5 PM.

Here is what you will learn and get to take home:

  1. Learn the difference between hot and cold infusions. Make and take home your own herbal blend with tea infuser.
  2. How and what we use to make decoctions that can be turned into a medicinal syrup. Make and take home a medicinal syrup.
  3. Learn solar and stove top herbal oil infusion applications that can be turned into salves and creams. Take home an herbal skin cream.
  4. Poultices with dried or fresh herbs. Take home a dried herbal poultice blend.
  5. Alcohol and glycerin tinctures. Take home your choice of herbal tincture and dropper bottle.

Space is limited to 12 people. Cost is $75 with lunch included. Please visit my events and classes button under my shop tab to sign up.

Once you pay for your spot you will receive details for the class as the time gets closer. No refunds after April 15th. If there is a waiting list you may receive a refund if someone takes your place.
