Description
FOR PICK UP ONLY. DOES NOT SHIP. This starter is from a strain that dates back over 200 years from Europe. It comes in a quart jar ready for use (not pictured). It is fed with an organic whole white wheat flour and spring water. Once used, feed with more water (non-chlorinated, this includes tap and refrigerator water) and organic whole white wheat flour. It is best to use more flour than water to make it thick enough for a spoon to stand up in the middle of the jar. This will be enough food for your starter to get through a week. Once it starts to develop liquid on top it is a sign to use and feed it again. I usually just drain it off before using. Please feel free to reach out without any questions.
