10 to 12 herbal medicines
We will begin class at 8:30 AM at my home in Fairview (just 1.5 hours from SL) where we will pack a healthy lunch and drive up the canyon to learn to identify local plants. During our time in the mountains we will discuss ethical and sustainable harvesting practices, have lunch and enjoy a guided forest meditation.
Once we have harvested plant material we will come back to my home where I will teach you how to make herbal medicine for you and your family. All materials and containers will be provided. The general number of items to make is 10-12 full size products that vary depending on plants available. You will take home and learn how to make tinctures, teas, decoctions, syrups, poultices, soap and salves/creams for first aid and general health needs. The class will end between 5 and 6 PM. Class is limited to 6 people. No refunds offered. Once you pay for your spot you will receive details for the class as the time gets closer. If there is a waiting list you can receive a refund if someone takes your place minus processing fees.
