Take your herbal remedies and application to a new level. Learn how to choose the right remedy for the right person. Our intensive workshop will begin at 10 AM and go to about 5 pm as we discuss the benefits of basic herbal medicine, including; plant degrees, herbal actions, tissue & plant energetics, how to grow and choose the best herbs, when to harvest and how to preserve and make medicine from them. You will receive a workbook of the handouts on the information discussed and 40 different easy to grow and use herbs that will correspond with an herb walk on June 20th at my place in Fairview. Plant walk is included (the day before).

Lunch will be served around 1 pm and then we will make plant medicine afterward (recipes included). Class will go to about 5 PM.

Here is what you will get to take home:

  1. Learn the difference between hot and cold infusions. Make and take home your own herbal blend with tea infuser.
  2. Learn how and what we use to make decoctions that can be turned into a medicinal syrup. Make and take home a medicinal syrup.
  3. Learn solar and stove top herbal oil infusion applications that can be turned into salves. Take home an herbal skin salve.
  4. Poultices with dried or fresh herbs. Take home a dried herbal poultice blend.
  5. Alcohol and glycerin tinctures. Take home your choice of herbal tincture and dropper bottle.

Space is limited to 12 people. Cost is $145.00.

Once you pay for your spot you will receive details for the class about a week before the class is held. No refunds offered. If there is a waiting list you may receive a refund if someone takes your place minus processing fees. Tickets are non-transferable. Registration closes June 14th.
